Situation

Our Client supported major logistics and postal organizations and operated legacy on-premises email systems.  As part of a broadermodernization effort—and later accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic—the organization needed to rapidly enable cloud-based collaboration and remote workat scale.

Task

Red X Carbon was engaged to migrate multiple large logistics organizations to Microsoft 365, enable Microsoft Teams as the primary collaboration platform, and later support tenant separation and modern device deployment models—all while ensuring business continuity during unprecedented operational disruption.

Action

In partnership with Compucom, Red X Carbon:

  • Migrated large-scale on-premises email systems to Microsoft 365
  • Rapidly enabled Microsoft Teams for thousands of users during the early stages of COVID-19
  • Led communications, documentation, and end-user readiness to support mass remote work adoption
  • Executed complex tenant separation to allow organizational autonomy
  • Implemented Intune and Autopilot to support large-scale, repeatable device provisioning

The solution integrated cloud andon-premises management tools to support diverse employee profiles and ongoing device refresh cycles.

Result

The client and its affiliated organizations successfully transitioned to a modern, cloud-based collaboration environmentunder extreme time pressure. Microsoft Teams became the primary internalcommunication platform, and automated device deployment processes continue tosupport thousands of new devices annually.
