Situation
The client, a newly constructed long-term healthcare facility in Ontario, was preparing to open its doors without any pre-existing IT infrastructure. Unlike traditional hospitals, the organization aimed to be cloud-first, eliminating on-premises servers while stillmeeting healthcare-grade security, reliability, and operational requirements.
Task
Red X Carbon was tasked with designing,deploying, and managing a full Microsoft 365 environment from a blank canvas, including email, collaboration, device management, and security—ensuring thehospital could operate effectively from day one and scale sustainablypost-launch.

The environment was intentionally designedfor long-term managed services, with Red X Carbon remaining accountablefor ongoing operations and device management.
Result
The healthcare client launched one o fOntario’s first cloud-first hospitals, with no on-site servers and a fully operational digital workplace from day one. Approximately several hundred staff members were enabled on a modern, secure platform that continues to be managed by Red X Carbon today. The hospital experienced a smooth opening, strong user adoption, and sustained operational stability.
